An Autonomous CRM Security Framework for Salesforce Agentforce

Agentforce agents set discounts, close cases and update customer records. AvertGate steps in between the agent’s decision and the real change in your CRM, and checks amount, scope and reversibility before it runs.

Architecture

The Atlas Reasoning Engine safety brake

Atlas builds a plan and picks the action; the plan passes through AvertGate before it becomes real. High discounts and deletes land with a manager in Slack and do not run without approval.

Threat vectors

Three risks specific to autonomous CRM agents.

Autonomous sales mistakes

Through prompt manipulation an agent can grant a customer an unauthorized 90% discount or overwrite opportunity records.

What AvertGate doesA discount and amount threshold rule is written; every operation above it goes to the sales manager in Slack.

Bulk customer data leakage

A support agent can pull thousands of customer records out of the CRM with unchecked queries.

What AvertGate doesQuery volume and field scope are checked; personal data is masked and bulk pulls are stopped.

Irreversible CRM changes

Deleting contacts, closing cases or over-privileged API calls cannot be undone once they run.

What AvertGate doesIrreversible calls are stopped at runtime or tied to approval.

Visibility

Every agent decision, on record with its result in the CRM.

Which agent did what on which customer record and which action went to approval; traced in one stream from session start to end.

  • Every action is recorded with its amount and scope
  • Above-threshold actions go to a manager
  • Irreversible calls are stopped before they run

Frequently asked

How does it connect with Agentforce?

The agent’s calls to outside systems and to your own APIs pass through the AvertGate gateway. The action endpoints in your agent definition are pointed at the gateway; the agent’s logic does not change.

Is our data sent to AvertGate?

No. The gateway runs on your network. Customer records never leave; only redacted event data reaches the dashboard.

Who is asked for approval in Slack?

You set the rule: for example discounts above 40% go to the sales manager and deletes go to the platform owner. A rejected action never runs.

Every rollout starts with a demo and a POC on your own agents.
