CLI

The @avertgate/cli package provides the avertgate command.

Command	Description
`start`	Starts the MCP gateway (default). `--shadow`, `--dry-run`.
`init`	Writes `policy.yaml` and `.env` to the current folder.
`verify`	Verifies the SHA-256 chain's integrity. `--db` picks the database, `--seal` first adds older events recorded before chaining was enabled to the chain, `--json` prints machine-readable output.
`report`	Produces an executive summary. `--format terminal\|markdown\|html\|json`, `--output`, `--agent`, `--org`, `--since`, `--until`, `--limit`.
`proxy`	Starts the HTTP reverse proxy. `--port`, `--upstream`, `--policy`, `--db`, `--shadow`.

Examples

# HTML report of the last 7 days
avertgate report --format html --output audit-report.html --since 7d

# verify and seal the chain
avertgate verify --db ./avertgate.sqlite --seal

# start in shadow mode
avertgate start --shadow
